Holy week. What does holy week really mean? Everyone is planning field trips, swimming, road trips, everything is planned. Aren't they suppose to be at the church? What's the point of the word "holy" if they are doing other things. Well that's not my problem now since many people today forgot the real meaning of holy week. Me on the other hand, well , I'm doing my daily routines. I open my facebook and check my news feed, like the posts my friends upload with their pictures of what and where they went. Good for them, well for me? I stayed at home, sleep, wake up, eat, watch and sleep again and repeat the cycle. Staying at home wasn't a big deal though. Since I really prefer to just stay at home and rest. Well it's not always that you get to have a good sleep these days especially for students like me, so why not use it as an opportunity. Sleep late at night, wake up late, watch zoids and k dramas late at night, well morning til late night and still get a good sleep.
Everything was going according to my plan of resting. But do you know the feeling when the vacation is still far so you enjoy and set aside your homeworks? And when that short break is about to end you rush your homeworks a day before the starting of classes. It sucks! Why cant any school or teacher give us a PEACEFUL BREAK AND VACATION? IT HAUNTS US EVERYWHERE! Literally and emotionally -_-
It's funny when the teachers would be asking us "How was your holy week?" I mean, are you kidding me? Oh , you know, it went fine. We spent our vacation doing the homeworks you gave us, it was very fun and spectacular. Yeah! Note the sarcasm tho. Well yeah, you wouldn't like to say that directly to your teacher or else R.I.P dude. Well others might enjoy it since the teacher would spend his/ her hours scolding you and the lesson would be postponed.
So what is holy week for me? Well it's the week wherein you finish all the requirements even though it's very tiring and it just ruined your break, you have to remain "HOLY" in terms of making those unlimited homeworks. -_-
